I want to get City of Sun and Darkness done and in the mail by the 10th. It's gonna need another polish, but I can save that for after I send the Synopsis+3 out. Shouldn't be too tough--it's going to be getting Shannon's voice right and tightening up the language, and also making sure there's enough description in there so it's not talking heads ( Read more... )

Got up and did a little over a thousand words. While it didn't exactly flow like water, neither did it stick like brick. Got some good insults going back and forth between Zherren and Ardoss, and some good Zhe/Elli bits in as well.

Today, not nearly as good. Only about 300, before work. Plenty of RL drama after, though.
